Â鶹´«Ã½’s PhD in Applied Organizational Psychology is the only doctoral program in applied organizational psychology on Long Island preparing you for a career in academia, business, industry, government, and other private and public domains. Internships provide practical hands-on experience applying scientific methods to solve problems related to individuals and groups at organizations in the New York City metropolitan area. Your dissertation research may be conducted in the lab, the field, or both. On average, this full-time PhD program takes three years to complete.

To be considered for the PhD in Applied Organizational Psychology, you must have successfully completed a master’s degree or equivalent in one of the social sciences or in business at an accredited institution.

Rebecca Grossman, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Industrial-Organizational Psychology and Internship Director at Â鶹´«Ã½. Her research focuses on teams (team processes and emergent states, measurement of team constructs, team diversity),training (individual and team training, training transfer), and complex settings (multi-cultural teams, virtual teams, multiple team memberships).
